"I opened Essential Beauty in June 2016. I have over 25 years experience in the beauty industry, including running my own salon in Beverley, working in spas abroad, and teaching Beauty Therapy at Yorkshire Coast and East Riding colleges. I offer all aspects of beauty treatments, but specialise in massage, waxing, electrolysis, permanent hair removal, skin rejuvenation and radio frequency treatments. I qualified as a foot health practitioner in January 2013, so I can now offer corn/callus removal, ingrowing toenail and other foot health treatments. I am very passionate about ensuring that the treatments I offer are to the highest standards. I enjoy meeting people and building friendly relationships.  I am full of enthusiasm and ready to do my utmost for new and existing clients.

We look forward to welcoming you to Essential Beauty. We offer professional, confidential, high quality treatments in a relaxed atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life."

Karen TowseKaren Towse

"My name is Karen and I am a qualified Reflexology and Aroma Therapist. I studied for my diploma with the International Institute of Health and Holistic Therapies at Beverley College in 2000, where I gained not only my qualification, but also expert training and knowledge in anatomy and physiology.

A reflexology treatment is not just a physical thing. It balances mind body and spirit - a very relaxing experience which is both non-intrusive and drug free, restoring a natural balance using slight pressure to points on the feet, to correspond with different areas of the body."
